This Samurai has seen both sides of the coin. At a young age she was trained day in and day out by her father. She had been training with a katana for years.She was born in Doma in a small village, but was sent out to the Azim Steppes shortly after. Her mother wanted her to have a new life. So they took hold with the Malaguld tribe. A safe place for Raen refugees.Time passed on, till she was seven. On the day of her name day she received her first katana from her father. Upon that night, her mother was celebrating with her in the Steppes when they were attacked by a group of Adarkim Xaelas. This resulted in her mother being raped before Kyo's eyes. That same night, she cut down the two Adarkim men, and they fled to the Ruby sea.They took refugee within the Sui-no-Sato. At first they were not welcomed and it proved hard for them to get under the water, but they passed the tests and were sheltered, by the grace of the Ruby princess.Years passed by, and Kyo's father was never allowed to see Kyo or his wife. Eventually, the father tried to survive the wrath of the waters, but felled upon his attempts. Kyo at the time had received the Kami's blessing to breath underwater, but she was strictly forbidden to leave the village. So she watched her father drown just malms away.During this time. Kyo's mother gave birth to a Xaelic baby. A young boy who she kept hidden. Bound by the village and to never leave. Kyo continued studying the blade as she catered to her mother. She despised the women and the birth of the child.She was trained by Kojin who acted as her Sensei and master through her teenage years. He was her mentor and tried to guide her from the path of wrath and dark.However, several nights she found herself looming in her brothers room. The thought of murder ran through her head several times. The existence of the child reminded her. Reminded her of the Adarkim and her father's death.Kyo sought out her master to help her find a way through this darkness. The Kojin proposed she'd become a retainer to the Palace of Shisui Violet tides. Kyo agreed to with her master and trained till she was fifteen. That is when she became a retainer for the Ruby Princess.She never left the palace unleash their was a duty or task ahead. She hunted and helped were she could. She became honorable. One with the Kami and her duties. Never once visiting her mother or brother in Sui-no-sato.She continued to train under her master till he felt he no longer could teach her anything. When he passed of old age. He gifted his katana to Kyo and thus began her journey of daul wielding katanas.Kyo had fallen in love with another retainer of the palace. Even though they held true to their duties, but their affection for one another was too strong. They were best friends and trusted each other with their lives.Eventually, the two got married a year later, and Kyo became pregnant. She of course hid her bump as much as she could. She didn't want people thinking she couldn't perform her duties.However, one night when the darkness shrouded the palace and the void entered the gates. Kyo and her husband tried their hardest to fend off the fiends with others. In the end Kyo watched her husband die. She herself was injured by a void being and barely made it out alive.She was one of the few that made it out of the palace that night. She awoke in Sui-no-Sato. Healers had informed her. That her child had been lost during her injuries, but she was marked by the void.This tainted touch gave birth to her fire affinity. A magic she was not gifted till the rage poured through. Despite what she was told. She believes her child was taken by the void.She vowed to return to the palace in due time, but this incident set forth her journey to find a way to the thirteenth, and kill the void creature that tainted her and 'took' her child.After five years of searching Kyo had started to lose hope in her efforts. She hadn't returned to Sui-no-sato in years. She did return as she was granted access to go and come freely. She had also became a spokes person for one of the Malaguld tribes. She followed the path of Kami and her masters teachings. This held her in tune with her lawful ways.Along the way, she has slayed countless void, and traveled the life as a Ronin. Yet, her fiery blade and affinity earned her the title of "Oni'.After meeting back up with a long lost friend of Kugane. She pushed herself further. So far that she faced her fears and conflictions.After defeating her mortal enemy Demiboros, being cleansed of her taint, and regaining her family. Kyo took up leadership of the void hunter clan Sureiya. She is now acting leader, and owner of two bars under the clan. These days acting for her people and servicing as needed.

After defeating her mortal enemy. The woman took ownership of a void hunter clan. One that consist of hunters and ex-yakuza. They are known in Kugane in the underworld, and helping those in need of void hunting expertise. They also have a bar in Kugane, and another in Ul'dah. Maybe you've heard of them.Flame Dancer:
Over the more recent times. Kyo has used her fire affinty to blend with dancer style fighting. She has found it to be a good balance to her previous samurai ways. You can actively speak to her on her style, or see her chakrams with her.Eye for blades:
Kyo use to work as a blacksmith in Kugane back in her early days. She does still have a found attraction to eastern weaponry, but doesn't mind talking with others about their pride and joys.Master of the Twin blades:

It is no surprise Kyo is a master of the element fire. She considers herself a 'fire weaver' as she manipulates it in many ways. However, more recently she has felt the spike of another element. She can feel that second connection to levin. With the proper training and technique. She hopes to access it's true potential. Way to blend her fire and soon to be lightning as one. Kyo is a very determined woman. She leans heavily on the justice and lawful acts, but tends to question the moralities of others. She has trouble loving and accepting friends. However, she does recognize the efforts. It may take a few times, but the woman can spot a pure heart.She is honorable and tends to her weapons most of the time. She has spent the last five years out of the surface of water. So she may have a distinguished view on those on land.She does tend to have a wrathful side to her, but if on her good side. She will provide any help needed. A true bond goes a long way for this woman.She can be judgmental, kind, and accepting. One thing she can't tolerate is power trips or the unlawful acts of criminals.She is a nurturing mother, but also has the blazing furry of the Oni.

Kyo uses two katanas, or Chakrams in combat. Two blades given to her by honorable figures in her life. She weaves her fire into these blades. Thus, giving her the style to carve and release as she wishes. She is an expert duals swordswoman.She tends to wear light armor to keep her more mobile, but at times she can be seen carrying a tanto, and a wakizashi. She does carry replacement blades on her back. These metals don't handle her heat well. So she does repair them frequently.Kyo is masterful in her fire 'magick' skills. However, instead of casting. She keeps it weaved to her blades.She is known to keep blank scrolls on her. This is primary used as fire summoning, sealing techniques. She inks them with blood as she draws Doman characters on them.Kyo carries around a small gourd. She can feed aether into this to cleanse. It is sealed with doman characters and lettering. It is unknown how she obtained this, but she can feed aether into it.Kyo does carry around a small black sake bottle. She uses this as an enhancer. The characteristics of the sake seem to temporarily boost her aether.

Congrats! If you've made it this far. First, I'd like you for taking the time to go through Kyo's card. I tend to enjoy RPing mostly adventure, and limited to romances. However, that's not to say I don't enjoy any form if RP when it comes to Kyo.There is more to the Raen than meets the eye. Should you be curious to find out and indulge. I'm open to discord scenes as well as Walk ups. I lean towards lasting RP arcs and connections. I'm always willing to work something in when it comes to RP.RP is something near and dear to my heart, and I take it seriously. One thing I do not tolerate is IC decisions being a problem in OOC. I keep them separate. A form of respect between writers is almost a must in my mind.I don't tend to release my discord out, but if a scene is in the future for our characters I will. For the most part a simple tell and communication could be that start.I am open to our characters having a previous connection, but that requires communication before hand.
